“Countryside Dreams” is officially open!

On the 3rd of October, I had the incredible honor of opening my second solo exhibition, this time at the Nenagh Arts Centre (NAC). It was a moment I’ll never forget—a blend of chaos, nerves, and, ultimately, pure joy.

The journey to that evening was quite an adventure. We managed to fit all the paintings into the car in a single trip—a challenge we pulled off successfully! Hanging day was busy, but there was a real energy to it. There were moments of doubt, but with each step, everything started falling into place. Bit by bit, it all came together beautifully.

And then, when everything was finally done, I stepped back and looked at my largest pieces, hanging together on the same wall. It was in that moment that I felt something powerful—maybe for the first time in my career, I felt truly proud of myself. It’s hard to put into words how overwhelming and beautiful that feeling was.

The opening night itself was everything I could have hoped for, and more. My dear friend Shirley opened the exhibition with a heartfelt speech that brought me to tears. Her words touched me in ways I’ll never forget, and I’m beyond grateful to have her in my life. To share that moment with someone so close to my heart was priceless.

I was eager to see how the evening would unfold, knowing that many artists share a common hope—that their work will be seen and appreciated. To my relief and excitement, the turnout was wonderful. The space quickly filled with people, their warm conversations, laughter, and genuine interest bringing the room to life. It wasn’t long before the atmosphere transformed into a lively gathering, with familiar faces and new ones coming together in the way I had always envisioned.

Of course, my biggest support system was right by my side—my husband. He’s my rock, my constant pillar of strength. Without his unwavering encouragement, none of this would have been possible. And then there was my beautiful daughter, bringing her own unique energy to the evening. Watching her shuffle and giggle around the room added that special kind of joy that only a child can bring.

I also want to take a moment to thank the staff at the Nenagh Arts Centre. Your help in making this exhibition a reality means the world to me. From the initial preparations to the final details, you were with me every step of the way.

If you happen to be driving through Nenagh, the exhibition will be up for another week. Why not pop in for a cuppa and enjoy some art? I’d love for you to experience this work in person. To everyone who came out, and to those who have supported me on this journey—thank you. Your kindness and encouragement mean everything to me.

    Until next time! Bye!!!

    An incredible update

I have to share one more thing that completely took me by surprise and filled my heart with joy. My parents—who live abroad—flew all the way to Ireland just for one day, only to see my exhibition! They didn’t tell me in advance and when they walked in, I was absolutely speechless. I couldn’t believe my eyes.Knowing they made that effort, just to be there with me and see what I’ve created, meant the world to me. It was such a special moment and I’ll cherish it forever. I’ve always known my parents supported me, but this gesture was beyond anything I could have expected. It filled me with even more happiness and gratitude.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for making this exhibition even more magical.
